About the Show

Based on the writings of Damon Runyon, and set in New York City, Guys and Dolls ran for over 1200 performances when in opened on Broadway in 1950, and won the Tony for Best Musical.

The musical follows the adventures of gamblers Nathan Detroit and smooth talking Sky Masterson; Nathan's long-term fiance and Hot-Box performer Adelaide; and Sarah Brown, Salvation Army leader who want the gang  to  "follow the fold and stray no more".   The gang, however, is a bunch of small-time gamblers and chorus girls who have their own ideas when it comes to living and let live.

In the Junior version, all the characters and the great songs remain, with the script trimmed and tailored specifically for teen actors.

Please note:  due to contract rights, cast members must be under the age of 19.
