In the meantime, let's start with 49 years of theater!!
Way back in 1962, MLT was born - the child of Margaret "Dumpy" Waller, Jim and Polly Ridley, Nan and Hal Christiansen, and Bren and BJ Huggins. Their first show - The Anniversary Waltz.
And as MLT approaches our 50th year in September 2012 - we will honor our founding members by making The Anniversary Waltz the first show of our 50th season!! The other NINE shows (that's right - a full 10 shows to celebrate our 50th anniversary), we're leaving that up to you and your input. After all, this is YOUR community theater, right?
MLT's 50th anniversary committee has narrowed down 224 productions (keep in mind, this does not include partnership shows or "extra" shows) by decade. What we want you to do is choose ONE play from the 1962-1971 seasons, and TWO shows from each season thereafter, to help us create our 50th year - the BEST OF MLT!
